Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our intake coordinator will schedule evaluations and make sure that there is a spot on your caseload for this client. If a client requests a change to the schedule, and you can accommodate it, you are more than welcome to move your schedule around to best fit the client's needs. Likewise, if a client dismisses and you would like to see about moving a client to make a better schedule for yourself, you can also do that.
-
On average you will see about 6-8 clients a day. This may increase if you are seeing children back to back at a school or daycare.
-
We do our best to match you with the clients that are in your wheelhouse. We would not give you a client that you are not trained to be able to see. For example, if you do not have advanced dyslexia training, we would never give you a child who needs those services. The typical caseload includes a mixture of speech sound disorders, expressive/receptive language (including late talkers and autism), and the occasional fluency or AAC.
-
Yes! Your time is valuable and you are compensated for attending staff meetings, eval write-ups, and planning time.
-
We have a strict cancellation policy were if adequate notice is not provided, you are fully compensated.
-
As we don't bill insurance, our paperwork is minimal. We use company provided iPads to take notes during sessions, meaning that when a session is over, your paperwork for that client is complete.
-
For hourly SLPs, PTO is based on how many hours of therapy you billed that month. For salaried employees, you receive a set amount of days at the beginning of each calendar year.
